The Fishing Trip

this print had a really interesting critique. my teacher really read into the expression on the guy's face and all this other stuff... i'm not really used to people reading very far into my work, it tends to be fairly superficial in concept... however this time i guess he saw something i didn't expect.

this was supposed to capture the mood of the solitude of fishing, being one with your surroundings and all that jazz... i'm too cartoony to be taken seriously here, maybe, but i really really ended up liking this piece (even though i think it's sort of hokey...)
